New Plecos (pictured on the left is Pleco sp. Cola Roja) are coming out of Peru as of late. Julio Melgar has been collecting tropical fish commercially in his home of Peru for almost 3 years now. Julio is based in Iquitoes, Peru and his fish and the new pleco's are availiable through Southern Apistos in St. Petersburg, Florida. Julio has always specialized in the Apistogramma species but now his speciality has spread into the pleco type fish. This includes even an Albino Adonis Pleco.
