Hello Folks,
Where do you begin when you are beginning? I guess
you just do it and take a look at the result and hope it turns
out well!
We did and we like it. Modern Tropical fish Bytes,
the first tropical fish web-based magazine, is now officially
off and running! We are excited to bring the very best reading
we can to the tropical fish world! The articles will be of the
best quality we can find, and they will be from anyone who wishes
to take the time to tell their story.
The concept of a web-based magazine is adventurous
and for sure the initial reaction will depend on the first articles.
Charles Nunziata, Brian Skidmore, Bill Shields all agreed to do
articles for us without moment's hesitation. That’s why
each of these folks is a giant in the world of tropical fish.
Each of them has worked tirelessly for the local and national
clubs. I thank them for their energy and and for what they helped
start.!
We will try to cover all of the aspects of tropical
fish keeping: Freshwater, Saltwater, Specialties and Products.
One thing we are going to promise to do for you is to have the
best listing of Aquarium Meetings and Show Dates. That, however,
si going to be up to you to send us those dates and times. Even
if you want a date to go into this issue you can send them to
me and I can insert them into this issue...thus the magic of this
medium.
Any suggestions or thoughts just give us a 'holler'.
We will listen to everything. Send all suggestions to Jim Cormier
at jdcfish@tampabay.rr.com
or Mike Jacobs at mjacobs2@tampabay.rr.com.
We will listen, trust me.
Finally, on every page there is a place for you
to “sign-up” for Tropical Fish Bytes. This is only
to keep track of who is reading MTFB......not to charge you anything.
We will NEVER sell that information to anyone. Trust me, it is
only for informationto benifit you. Similar to several other new
magazines, our readers will be treated to very real group discounts.
This is our intent in this case. You can feel comfortable if you
give us your e-mail address. You can trust that it and any other
of your other bits of information will not get into the hands
of spammers.
Our next MTFB will be slated for June. In the mean
time enjoy the entire newest web-based tropical fish magazine,
Modern Tropical Fish Bytes. We are very excited by this format
and hope you will receive this in the fashion it is presented.
Welcome to our world.......
